ANNUAL FARM HERITAGE DAYS

THE MAIN EVENT

Our biggest and most important event at the Warren CO-MO Old Threshers is our annual Farm Heritage Days. This is the culmination of many hours of hard work put in by our members and volunteers where we display, depict and demonstrate the tools and techniques of farm life from an era gone by. Our biggest displays include 2 threshing machines that are operated by our steam traction engines as well as with some of our gasoline tractors. Another big demonstration is our Sawmill. It is also belt driven by either a steam traction engine or our bigger gasoline tractors. The two days of the show are filled with activities for the whole family. An antique tractor pull was added in 2012 and in 2013 we added a garden tractor pull to go along with it. As always we still have our Antique tractor show and parade of power plus vendors offering a wide variety of crafts, goods and novelties made the old fashoned way.

Adult Games

We offer a variety of games and activities at our Farm Heritage Days one of which being the "Barrel Train" pictured to the right. We even have 2 adult sized pedal tractors for our Adult Pedal Tractor Pull which offers cash prizes to our winners.

Kids Games

Our kids games are not only fun for the little ones but mom and dad will get a laugh just watching. Best of all entrance to our Farm Heratige Days is still free and so is entering the kids into our games. We couldn't have these events without including the pedal tractor pull - it is a favorite of all the younguns'. We also have a nickel hunt in the straw stack from our threshing machines, a hoop race, sack race, egg in spoon race and plenty of other interactive displays to keep the kids busy all day.

Tractor Games

One of the very entertaining things to participate in or just watch are our tractor games. Tractor owners or drivers can participate. Games include the slow race, gathering the chain, the ball drop, and even a blind driving event. Its fun for both participants as well as spectators

Vendors and Demonstrators

Every year a big part of our show are the vendors that come and offer thier goods. We have a great history of having a jams and jellies vendor, wooden kitchen utensil maker, broom makers and many others. Outside of the museum building you may even find a blacksmith or a chainsaw carver.

If you are a vendor interested in participating in the Farm Heratige Days please take a moment to visit our contact page and send us a note. Vendor set up is currently free and building interior space is limited but available on a first come first filled per request basis.
